Our love of Canada and its symbols have not lessened, even in these frustrating times. Although, this doesn’t mean that we don’t also think that there is a lot of work that needs to be done within our country, and across the world when it comes to systemic racism and injustices. Whatisadam’s “Moshpit Mounties” plays with the iconography of Canada’s RCMP, originally intending to be a humours imagining of the RCMP participating in a moshpit. However, in light of current affairs it can also be interrupted as something touching on the frustration we are all feeling.
